Sara & Brandon - a Lakeside Wisconsin Wedding

June 18, 2012

Sara and I have known each other for 10 years, it's a great story.  It's a great story that includes more laughter than my abdomen can take, her knowing my husband was perfect for me even before I did and late nights that I wouldn't trade for the world.  But this story is not about us, that is a story for another time.

This is Sara and Brandon's story and it's a love story that you read about.  When I told my sister and brother-in-law their story my brother in law Tom said, "wow that sounds like it could be a Nicholas Sparks novel."  It could be, except in this one no one loses their memory, gets engaged to anyone else or has a secret identity.  At least I don't think either of them do.  Hmmm...

This is a love story that makes your heart ache to be part of it.  The way they look at each other makes the world around them fade away faster than any camera bokeh can take out the background.  Sara and Brandon chose not to do a first look so these photos are in order of the day.  If you can't tell, I loved her choice in accessories.

I don't know if you recognized the pastor, if not you should, he's pretty good looking.

I can't say enough about the next photos.  Most people want to know what the key to the "non-posed" photo is.  I think the key is to be crazy in love and not caring about the people behind the camera lens.  They did such a great job of being love and not paying attention to us that "OK you two, can you stop kissing just for this one?", was asked more than once :)

And did I mention there was pie? Individual pies for everyone, talk about a dream wedding!  Congratulations friends and thank you for letting us be a part of your day.
