Navy & Copper Winter Kinfolk-Style Wedding Inspiration

December 12, 2015

I have been dreaming up this styled shoot for more than a year.  The concept for this shoot was to put together a dream team of vendors who owned small businesses.  I wanted to showcase people I've seen work beautifully and work hard and deserved to have their craft displayed well.

The team and their work was and still is humbling.  The way the vision for a kinfolk-inspired winter wedding shoot came together was nothing short of miraculous.  The navy and copper tones played into the warmth needed to make the day feel cozy despite the fact the wind was gusting at 40mph and the rain was pounding outside.  The brunch theme created the feeling of fspending the day together, without a rush, not to mention brunch food is the absolute best, hence the spin on a wedding cake made of cinnamon rolls from Midori Bakery. If you're planning an intimate fall or winter wedding, a brunch wedding or simply a beautiful celebration please find your inspiration here and with these vendors:

Photography and Vision - Ali Hormann Photography
Florals and Styling - Katie DeLorme
Hair - Ashley Dingeman for C.Joy Salon
Make Up - Taylor Wickman for C.Joy Salon

I cannot say THANK YOU enough to the remarkable people who pulled this together.  An especially big thank you to Lindsey and Patrick for taking your day off to stand in the rain and still look fabulous.
