The best thing about sunrises is they symbolize beginnings.  Each new day begins gently with color and light and beauty, no matter when or where, when the sun peaks above the horizon it does so with intentional hope for the world it sheds it's light on.

So, Grace and Gil decided to take advantage of their time back in Seattle with a walk along Alki beach at sunrise.  

Grace met Gil studying in the library.  He sat down across the table from her and she just had a feeling that her future had just walked into her life.  After Grace spent a year studying abroad, they started dating.  After three weeks, Gil looked over at Grace, sitting on the couch, watching a movie and laughed as her nose wrinkled and her eyes lit up at the movie.  Finding her adorable, he leaned in and gave her a kiss and as he looked at her and knew he was madly in love with her.

In that moment he took a chance and told her he loved her.  When I asked him if she said it back, he said he didn't remember because all he could see was the smile on her face and the cute way her nose crinkles when she grins from ear to ear.
